Front End Developer

Description

Works as a designer/developer in a production capacity on various new media projects.

Responsibilities

Create web solutions using semantic, cross-browser web sites primarily using XHTML, CSS and unobtrusive JavaScript. Work in coordination with a team consisting of members from the technology group, design group, project management, and most importantly the client organization.

Experience

The qualified candidate will have 1+ years experience in new media development & communications with a specific concentration in web site development.

Skills

Experience in web design and production with proficiencies in HTML, XHTML, CSS and standards. Knowledge of advanced CSS layout techniques and table-less design with a solid understanding of cross-browser issues. Familiarity with PHP, Ajax, Javascript, WordPress, Joomla, Magento and Drupal along with a working knowledge of FLASH ActionSripting. Experience in creating HTML templates to backend developers for data integration and a design background is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems or in a related field is required.
