Technology Developer

Description

We are looking for a talented Technology Developer with passion, commitment and the ability to strategize and implement new ideas. This individual will join a talented group of developers working on various new media projects and web-based applications for both client-related projects and internal use.

Responsibilities

Develop and program web applications in multiple environments. Develop database schemas. Assist in defining user requirements and test finished solutions. Document code and internal programming practices. Provide support and maintenance on developed applications.

Experience

The qualified candidate will have 1+ years in web application & database development, as well as, at least 2 + years in new media (HTML & JavaScript) development.

Skills

Proficiencies in PHP 5, JavaScript, VB.net/ASP.NET, VB Script /ASP Classic, object-oriented programming, XML, XHTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of relational databases including MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and Access. Server skills including Linux, Windows, Mac is a plus. Strong foundation in the disciplines of coding, application & database development, usability, web technology, time management, multi-tasking, and communication.

Experience with web application frameworks (Django, Ruby on Rails, Cake, Ignite, etc.) and programming languages like Python and Ruby a plus.

Education

A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent work experience.
